Study facilities


There are numerous study desks available in the library, as well as separate rooms for group-related studies.

80 study desks are situated in our Quiet reading room.

The library is designated to be a tranquil study area, so please study and speak quietly in order not to disturb others.
Respect the fact that the library is a workplace for many of the visitors.
The use of cell phones in the library is prohibited!

Computer search facilities


Internet searches and CD-ROM and on-line databases are available from the public computers in the library.
Most of the paid on-line databases are accessible from all computers within the domain hig.se (University of Gävle), i.e. from computer labs and staff offices.

Access to most of the databases is also obtainable from home, in case you have an active student account, i.e. a valid log-in name and ditto password.

Returning of books when the Library is closed


Books can be returned in a box just outside the Student Centre when the Library is closed.
