Plagiarism checking
Plagiarism checking of text documents will be carried out using the web-based plagiarism checking system SafeAssign in the Blackboard learning management system.
The teacher will carry out plagiarism checking after a student has handed in a document in Blackboard. If it is clear that a text has been plagiarised, the teacher will fill in a report and the matter will be taken up by the Disciplinary Board.
Students can use the Blackboard-platform “SafeAssign — plagiatkontroll" for self-checking on their texts and pm. For more information about our rutines contact your teacher or learningcenter@hig.se
The faculty are responsible for informing students about the SafeAssign system and for ensuring that students will use it.

for more information about plagiarism and use this system to check your document before you hand it in.
No essay will be published electronically before a course supervisor has carried out a plagiarism check of the essay.
