The Center currently consists of 14 people employed by University of Gävle plus a large number of people involved from the partners.

Aim

The overall aim of the Center for RF Measurement Technology is to become an internationally leading research center and establish Gävle as a node in the area. Industrial collaboration and partnership are key issues. The research shall be application oriented and together with education directed towards industrial needs. The laboratories are fundamental parts of the Center, they will give the trademark for both undergraduate and graduate programs as well as one of the foundations for collaboration. The niche RF measurement technology together with well equipped laboratories will give a unique position for education and research that complements and is of vital importance for the industry, the society and the academic world.

History

The Center was founded in 2006 and the host is University of Gävle. Together with industrial and academic partners the community of Gävle is a leading partner.

Objective

The long term objectives of the Center are to establish a world leading research center in the area of RF measurement technology; support education of radio engineers and PhD´s; become a natural collaboration partner for leading industry; and to support local and national companies in the radio business.
