There is a mutual dependence between the University of Gävle and the local community. The University´s development is dependent on and provides the conditions for the development throughout the entire Gävle region. Graduate studies take place in collaboration with other learning centres. All our undergraduate studies are linked to research. There are 40 professors active at the University.
