Localization
- Most of the Faculty is in the University buildings in Kungsbäck
- On Södra Sjötullsgatan 3 you find the division Indoor environment. A gradual shift is planned, however, to Kungsbäck. This occurs mainly during the autumn of 2010.
Kungsbäck - HiG
The premises are located in the building Munin (building 11), with wings 12 and 13 , and the building Freja (building 99). Also, the faculty occupies building 32, level 2.
Orientation in Munin (building 11):
Level 1: Computer labs.
Level 2: Computer labs for Geomatics and staff rooms.
Level 3: Electronics lab and staff rooms.
level 4: Faculty office and staff rooms.
Level 5: Div. Building Quality, classrooms and staff rooms.
Level 6: Staff rooms.
Orientation in building 12:
Level 1: Measuring lab (CAM)
Level 2: Machine workshop, and materials lab and production lab.
Orientation in building 13:
Level 1: Study rooms for project engineers.
Level 2: Study room for project engineers.
Level 3: HVAC lab and technology for education
Orientation in Freja (building 99):
Level 1: Lecture halls.
Level 2: Biology.
Level 3: Chemistry.
Level 4: Physics / Data / Foundation year.
Level 5: Physics / Computers.
Level 6: Staff rooms.
Staff rooms are mainly in Munin (level 2, 3, 4 and 5), and in Freja (level 6, and the southern end of level 3, 4 and 5).
Silvanum
In Silvanum, Kungsbäcksvägen 32, close to the university's other facilities, there are training units and staff rooms for the Design and Wood Technology Program, Div Building Quality
Brynäs
The premises are located at Södra Sjötullsgatan 3.
The Technology Park
A number of the Faculty staff also work in premises belonging to the GIS Institute
and to the Radio Center Gävle, both located in Gävle Technology Park.
