Educations
Within the Faculty of Engineering and Sustainable Development there are about 30 different education programmes and about 500 different courses. The number of foreign students has risen sharply in recent years. In a number of programs / courses therefore the teaching is in English.

The Scholarship Unit manages the scholarships that companies and organizations in the university's proximity annually donates to good students, graduate students and researchers at the University of Gävle.

Important dates
The Academic year comprises 40 weeks. It is organized into four course periods, each 10 weeks. Period 1 and 2 are in the autumn semester, period 3 and 4 are in the spring semester.
