About the Course
The course will give the student practical experience in hydrological field work and theoretical knowledge of hydrological processes. The course content covers: precipitation and runoff; hydrological/hydraulic processes and analysis (unit hydrograph, flow routing and statistics); measurement of water discharge; floodplain management; sediment erosion, transport and deposition; fluvial geomorphology; and river flood inundation modeling with the use of GIS.
