About the Course
In the course, content and language integrated learning is analysed with emphasis on the development of language and knowledge as intertwined phenomena regardless of learners linguistic and cultural background. Scaffolding, assessment and feedback is discussed regarding language and content knowledge development. Subject texts are discussed regarding language and genre features from a second language development perspective. Didactic perspectives on litterature and fiction are discussed and related to superdiverse and multilingual classrooms. Possibilities to use litterary texts as a didactic tool are discussed within a translanguaging approach. Theoretical and metodological perspectives witihin the field are discussed and students write an essay in swedish as a second language.
