Quality

The University works systematically with continous education and research quality development and mitigation of the University's environmental impact.

There are various approaches to quality in education and in research:

  1. Content quality: education and research should generate new knowledge.
  2. Results quality: education and research should generate the desired results, in terms of grades, exams, publications and measurable performances.
  3. Market quality: education and research should be competitive and requested by the external society.
  4. Systems quality: education and research should systematically go through continous improvements, be effective, healthy and have high integrity.

The University's quality assurance system centers on a coherent framework with established quality goals and processes.

You can read more about the system here (in Swedish):

The quality assurance system comprises two general methods for continous quality enhancement in education and research:

Thematic quality development

Quality development by peer review

The quality system develops and secures the University's indirect sustainability goals while the environmental management system develops and secures the University's work with its direct environmental impact.
