Course organisation
Individual skills, social processes, the cultural climate and religious movements affect the view of leadership. During the course Leadership, individual, society, culture and religion 15 hp, we approach leadership contextually. This means that we work with "work-related" issues and try to look at questions and dilemmas from the bottom up perspective. The individual is in interaction with his or her surroundings. The areas we touch are culture and religion, ethics and values, philosophy of life and human perception, language and attitude, organization, organizational structures and leadership theories. The course will include non-mandatory lectures. It is part of the Master's program in Religious Studies, but can also be read as an independent course.
