The course Strategic Marketing C HT 2023 7.5 hp for campus students will be organized through CANVAS. Students will automatically be enrolled on the course in Canvas once they have registered for their course in Ladok. All information regarding the course will be available in CANVAS.
The course will be conducted physically on Campus and Hybrid. Students are requested to go through the power point slides of the topics of Strategic Marketing that will be uploaded on CANVAS. 4 recorded lectures on the topics of Strategic Marketing will also be uploaded on Canvas. The students are welcome to participate the introduction meeting to be held physically on Week 35. Discussion meetings be held physically on Campus. Students need to submit the individual home exam and group assignment on case study analysis and group assignment on literature review on strategic marketing topics as exams for this course. It is compulsory for the students to participate on the group case study seminar which is be held physically on Campus. The students need to submit their individual home exam as well as the two group assignments on Canvas before the deadline mentioned in course manual to receive grades. The course manual will be available on Canvas one week before the start of the course. The course manual will have all required information regarding the course. The course will start on week 35, 2023. The Introduction meeting will be held on campus and the date, time and location of the meeting will be notified to the student through canvas announcement one week before the course start. The medium of instruction for this course is English.

The communication between students and teacher will be held physically during introduction meeting and discussion meetings. Seminar will be held physically or if situation requires, via zoom. Students will be also communicated through pre-scheduled zoom meetings as well as though e-mails and discussion threads on Canvas. The course contents, timetables, and information will be uploaded on Canvas for the course and all-important announcements related to the course will be also on Canvas. Moreover, individual or group emails will be sent to the students’ email accounts regarding important matters related to course. The Introduction meeting will be held physically on Week 35, 2023. The date, time and location of the meeting will be notified to the student through canvas announcement one week before the course start.
The course is given by the Faculty of Education and Business Studies.
Registration for exams, including re-takes, is mandatory. You can register for exams via Ladok. You need to register at least ten days before the exam date. If you didn't register in time, you can not take your exam. No exceptions are made from this rule, we do not accept registrations when the deadline is passed.
If you are a distance study student and want to take your exam off-campus, you need to apply to do so at least three weeks prior to the exam date.

You need to apply for accommodation yourself. Please remember to do it in good time before your arrival. The University of Gävle does not provide any student accommodation.
Free Microsoft Office
As a student at the University of Gävle you have the opportunity to install Microsoft Office on up to five computers. The Office package includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Onenote.
The library is located in the middle of campus and is open to everybody. You can reach all digital resources such as e-books and e-journals after logging in with your user account.

- If you are a non-EU citizen you need to apply for a residence permit. Start the process of applying for a residence permit as soon as possible. This can be a slow process and take several months. It is therefore good to get started as soon as possible!

Wireless network (wifi)
Eduroam (EDUcation ROAMing) gives you access to the Internet when you are staying on the University campus. It also provides internet access at other universities and colleges that are connected to eduroam. Eduroam also works at many airports, railway stations and hotels.
