Install Microsoft Office for free
As a student at the University of Gävle, you now have the ability to install Microsoft's Office software for free on up to five computers.
Follow these steps
- Surf to https://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx
- Fill in your username@hig.se see the picture. Observe that you must write @hig.se not @student.hig.se
- Then click in the password box to be sent on to the University's Web Login page
- Logg in with your username and password
- Select language.
- Click on "(Installera) Install Now" and select "(Kör) Run." Follow the prompts until the installation is complete.
You have the right to use the software as long as you have an active user account at the University of Gävle.
