Remote Desktop Services makes it possible for you to work on the University's local network no matter where you are located geographically or what type of device you are using. You are connected to the university's server but you experience it as you are working locally on your own computer.

Get programs that you don't have on your own computer

You can use the remote desktop to access software that you don't have on your own computer. For example, you can access SPSS, CAD programs, the Office package and support programs for reading and writing difficulties. You can also connect to the remote desktop from the University's computer rooms if your computer lacks any of the programs you need.
