In this way, we follow recommendations issued by the government and the Public Health Agency of Sweden.
We must all take our individual responsibility in this situation. Our teaching staff are all working hard to switch to distance education, and we are making every effort to guarantee that you can complete your studies, even though the teaching and examination may be in a different format for the time being. As students, you are expected to take your responsibility for your studies and for your own learning as usual, even though the format will be different for some time.
Moreover, we all have a shared responsibility; each and every one of us must remember to wash our hands carefully and stay at home if we feel unwell. At the same time, it is important that education and research continue and that the University campus remains open as a workplace and for individual studying.
Stay updated via our website on hig.se/currentstudents. Also, keep an eye on Blackboard/Canvas to find out how changes in your courses affect you.
With kindest regards,
Ylva Fältholm, vice-chancellor at the University of Gävle
