Study Abroad with Erasmus+

To travel abroad as an exchange student means that you go to one of the universities that we have Erasmus+ exchange agreements with. In most cases, the agreements are made for a specific subject, which means that the possibility of exchange varies from programme to programme.

A major advantage of going as an exchange student is that you do not have to pay potential tuition fees at the host university. Another advantage is that the contact between the host university and University of Gävle is already established.

Erasmus+ traineeship – scholarship

Erasmus+ traineeship is an exchange program that gives you the opportunity to intern at a company, organization or university in one of the 33 countries that are part of Erasmus +. You are responsible for finding an traineeship placement. The traineeship should be relevant to your education and must be approved by your university. You can receive a scholarship for a period of 2 to 12 months.

You can do the traineeship during your studies (VFU, summer) or after your studies (within 1 year).
You can also apply for an Erasmus+ traineeship scholarship if you plan to do your thesis at a company in another European country.
