About the Course

Basic aquatic ecology with focus on organisms and their relation to environmental factors are studied in freshwater lakes and in coastal areas of the Baltic Sea. Field investigations during excursions are combined with laboratory work and theoretical studies.

Grundläggande akvatisk ekologi med fokus på organismer och deras relation till miljöfaktorer studeras i sötvattensjöar och i kustnära områden av Östersjön. Fältundersökningar under exkursioner kombineras med övningar och teoretiska studier. Kursen ingår som en fristående del i kurspaketet Nordic ecology, 30 hp
