University of Gävle, Department of Business Studies and Economics, offers and international master programme in accounting. The programme is given in English.
About the studies
The department of Business Studies and Economics, offers and international master programme with a primary focus on financial, management and sustainability accounting. The programme runs for two semesters (60 credits in total).
Applicants are accepted once a year. The programme welcomes both international and Swedish students.
The selection is based on the degree of success in previous studies, particularly in Business Administration.
After the studies
Students successfully completing the programme will find themselves qualified to work in international private and public sector organizations as accountants, auditors and controllers. They will also be able to engage in continuing research and qualify for Pd.D. studies.

-A completed Bachelor's degree, corresponding to a Swedish Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS), or equivalent academic qualifications from an internationally recognised university . -Business Administration as Major (90 ects) or equivalent. English language proficiency equivalent to (the Swedish upper secondary school) English course B/6.
