Choice of specialisation

Besides the fact that the need for economists is great, the occupation is both diversified and independent. You could work with purchasing, marketing, financial advice, organisational issues, human resources, development of business systems or as a controller, investment broker or auditor. There are plenty of options and during the course of the education you choose to specialise either in accounting or business development.  

Project and problem

The foundation of the programme is a combination of project and problem based learning - a study technique which is less dependent on set schedules and fixed premises. A significant part of the studies will also utilize modern information and communication techniques which mean that you can also study the programme through distance education.

Regardless of specialisation the career paths are numerous

After completing the education you will be well-equipped to work within the main area of your choice. If you chose accounting you could, for example, work within finance and economics in both private and public organisations, as an auditor, auditing consultant or within tax administration.  
If you chose business development you have the possibility of working with operational and business development, market communication or organisational development. You can work as an employee in private and public organisations or be self-employed and work as a consultant.
