Has devoted herself to classroom research, to evaluation both theory and practice, and has in recent decades oriented her research towards higher education, both macro and micro issues, and especially those related to teacher education. In parallel, interest has been devoted to activity pedagogy as an educational movement and more specifically to Montessori pedagogy.
