Presently I'm writing a book about the international discussion between the so called "New Atheists" and the theologians representing traditional Christian apologetics. I will in this book analyze and critically asses the common framework of this discussion.
I'm also writing a homiletical textbook which focuses on the religious language used in sermons.

My research cover four different but related areas: a) Philosophy of religion with a special interest in the function of religious language (primarily from a wittgensteinian point of view) b) The cultural and philosophical debate between atheists and theists c) Philosophical problems connected with the methods used by the quantitative branch of sociology of religion d) Homiletics and the view of language presupposed in the academic homiletical discussion.
My previous research has focused on the national debate between atheists and Christian theologians. I have also been writing about methodological questions in the sociology of religion.
