Niklas received his PhD in 2023 in Computer and Systems Science at Mid Sweden University with the thesis "Programming in grade 7-9: Action possibilities and constraints from the perspective of mathematics and technology teachers". Research interests include: programming, game-based learning, design science, learning analytics, and artificial intelligence.
Niklas is currently involved in the SPEDAT (Games for Computational Thinking) project at Mid Sweden University, which aims to develop a digital game about programming that will help students learn the basics of programming.
