My research has a broad starting point in sustainable industries and challenges to resilience that arise within the value chains, and how these affect the environment and society. I highlight the importance of sustainability in the industrial value chains from the perspective of achieving resource efficiency and visibility, which shapes my three research domains; reverse and circular value chains, digital and local production in value chains based on demand, and traceability in value chains.

In my research, I primarily combine principles around value chains and business models, to design specific methods for problem solving to optimize and change value chains, which leads to sustainable value generation.

CURRENT RESEARCH

  • Industrial value chains
  • Reverse logistics
  • Digital and local production
  • Traceability
  • Organizational resilience in supply chains
  • Circular economy and circular business models
