Mohamed Hamid got the licentiate of technology degree from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden where he is currently working towards his PhD degree. Prior to that, he received the Ms. C. degree in Radio communication from Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Karlskrona, Sweden in 2009 and the Bs. C.  degree in Electrical Engineering from Khartoum University, Khartoum, Sudan in 2005. Since 2010 Mohamed is working in the University of Gävle, Department of Electronics.  

From 2010 to 2012 he participated in the leading FP7 European project in cognitive radio QUASAR where he contributed in many work packages within the project.

Research Interest

Mohamed's research interests include radio communication, cognitive radio and blind spectrum sensing.
