Programmes

There are two programmes in this department: The Health Education programme, which has a long tradition of education on health promotion and preventive work, based on the topics of public health and education. Research

We have a strong research environment - the Centre for Musculoskeletal Research, CBF - which has been awarded a 10-year research grant totalling SEK 50 million for the FAS Centre, "The Body at Work - from problem to potential."

We are also investing in the development of research in the subject of public health science in the department. Here the research focus is on strategic public health efforts based on surveys of health and measures related to lifestyles and living habits.
