Cost-efficient modeling of physical work load — an empirical study of work postures in industry

In this project, measurements of work postures will be made on pulp mill workers, and easily accessible information of perceived workload and work tasks will be collected. In parallel, the costs for collecting the data will be calculated. Regression models of the relation between the work postures and the indirect measures of workload will then be built and evaluated both in terms of their predictive ability and in terms of the costs associated with using them for prediction.
