In 2011 a new line of research was initiated at CBF: Leadership which promotes good health.
Initially, a study was made of perceived health factors in social care work and their relation to leadership. The plan is that this new field of research will develop to become as large as other research programmes.
Another new field of research looks into the effects of (work) mealtimes on physical and mental performance and how different work organizations influence mealtime behaviour and how mealtimes are perceived. The hypothesis is that mealtimes, their timing and location, the nutritional value of the food and the social context are important to the performance of the individual.
