Long-term gastrointestinal disease
To live with and manage long-term functional gastrointestinal diseases
Functional gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms change over time, as do people´s lifestyle. The research focus on changes in (GI) symptoms and lifestyle factors in patients seeking healthcare for dyspeptic symptoms. The results may guide healthcare providers in providing information and advice to patients seeking help with functional GI symptoms.
The research is based on an 18-year period of monitoring (completed in 2008) of patients with gastro-intestinal complaints.
