The garden — an integrated part of elderly care

The aim is to study outdoor environments for people living in care homes and to design health-promoting gardens which can facilitate improvements in health, quality of life and well-being.

Therein, the aim is to study the personnel's view of the garden as a part of the care and as a means of stress reduction.

Two studies have been published and a third study in process.
