Mamunur Rashid

Senior lecturer, medicine doctor

Research subject: Occupational Health Sciences

Mamunur Rashid earned his PhD in occupational health science in January 2020 and currently works as a senior lecturer in public health science. He received his master's degree in Public Health Epidemiology from Karolinska Institute and his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Medical Anthropology from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh.

He has been teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels in Public Health and Occupational Health Sciences since September 2020. His main area of teaching is public health and epidemiology, public health psychology, health promotion and inclusive working life, health promotion, and research methods.

CURRENT RESEARCH

Mamunur Rashid’s current research interest in public health and occupational health focuses on social determinants of health, sickness absence, psychosocial factors for the sustainable work environment, work ability, well-being and return to work as well as structural violence, and health equity.
