Sexual life and married life
Dimensions of sexual life and married life in men and women and partners suffering a first myocardial infarction (the SAMMI study group)
The overall aim was to define and compare how men and women who have suffered a myocardial infarction and their partners perceive their relationship as a couple, one year before and one year after a first myocardial infarction. This was carried out with consideration for the socio-demographic and medical data, knowledge of sexual activity, sexual function, satisfaction with the relationship, job satisfaction, coping, social support, quality of life and self-treatment.
