Nursing students´ learning of evidence-based practice

A longitudinal study from education into working life

The project is implemented under Pressure Ulcer Prevention (PUP), which is a cooperation project between four universities and four county councils (Dalarna, Gävle, Karlstad and Uppsala).

Sub-project 1 is presented during medical treatment and healthcare of the elderly.

In sub-project 2, students from four universities in Central Sweden (intervention group of 320 and a control group of 320) will be followed for 3 years. The aim of the project is to study, over time and in one's working life, the effect of how a critical and knowledge-based attitude is learned and then used.

Four sub-studies are included in the project.
