How to apply step by step

  1. Choose companies, organizations or universities where you would like to do your internship. Large companies and organizations often advertise “Internships/Traineeships/Student Projects” on their websites and there are several search databases that you can use. 2. If you choose to do the internship in beside your studies, for example during a summer vacation, a study break or after your studies, the International Office approves the internship. If the practice is to be credited in your studies, it must be approved by your faculty. Check with the International Office/your faculty that the internships you are interested in would be approved.
  3. Submit an application to the internships you have been approved by the International Office/your faculty. Most internships ask for personal letters, CV:s and grades when applying.
  4. Download "Confirmation of traineeship". This certificate must be completed by you, the internship and International Office/your faculty, and signed and stamped by the internship and International Office/your faculty. Send the document to the International Office by e-mail to studentcentrum@hig.se.
