Per Lindberg is member of the Forte-centre of Excellency "The Body at Work - from Problem to Potential" at the Centre for Musculoskeletal Research. In 2006 he defended his thesis "The Wok Ability Continuum" at Karolinska Institutet. The thesis has a focus on what promotes excellent work ability and health. Per Lindberg main research area is about different aspects of healthy workplaces, workplaces that promote the wellbeing of both the employees and the organisation. Another research area is about ergonomic risk assessment methods. Per Lindberg's teaching focuses on healthy workplaces, physical ergonomics and risk assessment methods, in Sweden as well as abroad.

 

 

Current research

  • GodA - Good work environment and healthy workplace. this is a longitunell intervention project testing a model that connects work environment, the wellbeing of the employees and organisational development.
  • Visual ergonomics, development of a risk assessment method for visual ergonomics.
  • A systematic review regarding determinants for positive mental health and wellbeing at work.
