Gunnar Bergström jobbar sedan 2018 som professor inom arbetshälsovetenskap på HiG. Tidigare har han forskat kring personskadeprevention, medicinsk psykologi i ämnet arbetslivsforskning.

AKTUELL FORSKNING

  • Flexibelt arbete – möjlighet och utmaning. Forskningsprogram finansierat av FORTE. Tidsperiod 2019-2025. Inom programmet bedrivs forskning kring effekter på arbetsmiljö, arbetshälsa och hållbarhet för organisationer av (a) flexibla arbetsformer som flextid och distansarbete och (b) tidsbegränsade (osäkra) anställningar och inhyrd arbetskraft.
  • Sjuknärvaro hälsa och produktivitet. Finansiering från AFA-försäkring. Projekttid: 2017 t.o.m. 2020.
  • Utvärdering av en insats för prevention av sjukskrivning bland anställda med stressproblematik eller psykisk ohälsa. Finansiering från Forte. Projekttid: 2015 t.o.m. 2019.
  • Jag är också medverkande forskare i ett antal projekt kring stress i arbetslivet med tillämpning av praktiska metoder för prevention av psykisk ohälsa och främjande av hälsa i samverkan med företagshälsa, primärvård, arbetsplatser och skolor. Andra projekt rör mätmetoder för den psykosociala arbetsmiljön och mätning av arbetsförmåga med koppling till ekonomiska utfall.
