Marit Silén är verksam inom profilen hälsofrämjande arbetsliv. Främst riktas forskningsintresset mot arbetsmiljö och arbetsförhållanden för personal inom hälso- och sjukvård samt omsorg med särskilt fokus på vårdetiska aspekter som aktualiseras i deras arbete.
