José Chilo

Forskningsämne: Elektroteknik

José Chilo har sin B.Sc. examen i industriell ekonomi från University of San Agustin Arequipa, Perú 1986 och B.Sc. examen i elektroteknik från Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH), Kista, Sverige 2001. Från 1986 tills han började sina studier vid Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan 1998 arbetade han som konsult eller ägare inom olika branscher såsom textilier, tillverkning av kläder, transport, etc., både i Perú och Sverige. Han disputerade i fysik vid Royal Institute of Technology 2008 och blev docent i elektronik vid Mittuniversitet 2010. Han har varit involverad i forskningsprojektet "Tillförlitlig maskin-till-maskinkommunikation i elektromagnetiska störda miljöer" under 5 år i samarbete med olika företag. Han är för närvarande involverad i olika forskningsprojekt om sensorer, trådlös sensor nätverk, signal- och databehandling, särskilt avancerade mätmetoder och händelseklassificering.
