Abolfazl Hayati är teknologie doktor i energisystem och inneklimat (2017) vid Högskolan i Gävle (HiG). Han har en masterexamen i energisystem (2012) från HiG samt ingenjörsexamen i maskinteknik (Mechanical engineering) (2009) från Tehran Polytechnic.

Dr Abolfazl Hayati har varit involverad i forskning vid Högskolan i Gävle både under doktorandstudierna som en del av projektet ”Spara och bevara” (Dnr 2011-002440) tilldelat av Energimyndigheten och efter examen som universitetslektor. Hans forskning handlar om fjärrvärme- och fjärrkyla system, byggnadsenergisystem, energieffektivitet, inneklimat, miljöbedömning av byggnader, naturlig ventilation, stadsventilation och solenergi. Undersökningar inkluderar mätningar (i laboratorium, fält- och vindtunnel), analytisk modellering och numeriska simuleringar med byggnadsenergisimuleringsverktyget IDA-ICE. Dessutom översiktlig erfarenhet av CFD simulering (luftströmning i utrymmen) med ANSYS Fluent.

Som universitetslektor har Abolfazl varit inblandad i undervisning och handledning på högskolan som föreläsare/kursansvarig och labbhandledare i olika kurser på högskoleingenjörs- och mastersnivå. Abolfazl har också varit handledare till några examensarbeten (Länk till exjobbarbetena) samt bi-handledare till doktorander sedan 2017.

AKTUELL FORSKNING

  • Fjärrkyla vs. lokala lösningar för komfortkyla
    Ett forskningsprojekt om värme och kyla för framtidens energisystem. Energimyndigheten Termo program (Dnr: 2019-003410) Projektet presenteras i IEA EBC Annex 80 “Resilient Cooling of Buildings”.
  • Miljökrav, energianvändning och klimatpåverkan – en studie av samband och möjligheter
    Ett forskningsprojekt om energieffektivt byggande och boende. Energimyndigheten E2B2 program (Dnr: 2018-016216).
  • Impacts of urban-built layouts on urban ventilation and building natural ventilation under unsteady atmospheric conditions.
    Forskningsprojektet sker i samarbete med forskare från Sun Yat-Sen University Kina och University of Hong Kong. STINT-China projekt (Dnr: CH2017-7271).
  • Erasmus+ Program Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships “PowerUp MyHouse” (Agreement number: 2020-1-TR01-KA202-093467) “Development of innovative learning and practice modules to increase the usage of renewable energies for sustainable buildings” I samarbete med andra lärosäte från EU samt Turkiet.
