Parallellt med min tjänst som adjungerad professor vid Högskolan arbetar jag vid Stockholm Exergi, leverantören av fjärrvärme i Stockholmsregionen. Mina arbets­uppgifter innefattar bevakning av regelverk och styrmedel som påverkar energisystemet och energimarknaderna. Detta omfattar områden som bioenergi, energi från avfall, kraftvärme, byggregler och frågan om effekt i kraftsystemet. Jag har flera externa uppdrag, bland annat som ledamot i Energiutvecklingsnämnden vid Energimyndigheten och styrelseledamot i Svenska bioenergiföreningen (Svebio).

AKTUELL FORSKNING

Min forskning har tidigare fokuserat på modellering och analys av regionala energisystem, bland annat i samverkan med International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) i Wien. Under senare år har fokus legat på stadens energisystem och kopplingen till bebyggelsen.
