Roya's research interest involves the issues of the urban safety. She has been particularly focused on the interplay between the human activities and the features of the built environment, and how these interactions change and shape the quality of life.

AKTUELL FORSKNING

‘‘Senior housings at risk: the influence of housing quality indicators on rates of deaths of COVID-19 among older adults in the municipalities of the Stockholm County'', examines the impact of the social/physical features of the living environment of the seniors on the spread of COVID-19. Funded by Lars Erik Lundberg Scholarship Foundation, Registration number: 961977.
