Rodrigo är professor i organisatorisk hållbarhet och meddirektör för Center for Logistics and Innovative Production (CLIP) vid Högskolan i Gävle. Han är specialredaktör för Frontiers in Organisations for Sustainability. Han är gästprofessor vid Central University of Technology, Bloemfontein, Sydafrika. Han var chefredaktör för Journal of Cleaner Production. I över tjugo år har Rodrigo arbetat för hållbarhet i icke-statliga organisationer, universitet och företag.
