Matematiska metoder för elektromagnetisk fältteori, partiella differentialekvationer, numeriska metoder, inversproblem, ickelinjär analys, lösningsmetoder för storskaliga problem med osäkra data inriktade mot superdatorer; olika applikationer inom teoretisk elektroteknik inklusive vågutbredning i ickelinjära media, nya dielektriska material, optik, samt kontaktmekanik. Forskningsintressena inkluderar riskanalys och beslutsfattande metoder samt matematikdidaktik.
