Bojana Petrovic
Bojana has finished Bachelor and Master Studies in Economics at University of Nis in Serbia. Additionally, she has completed her second Master Studies in Mechanical Engineering in filed Energy Management in 2016. During her studies, she had opportunity to be an exchange master student at Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Norway where she got knowledge about Energy, Environmental and Resource Management issues. Furthermore, as scholar within project Erasmus Mundus Sigma Agile she has completed Master’s Thesis at Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland in field related to renewable energy from economic point of view. She has been involved in projects related to sustainability and renewable energy. As well, she worked as accountant and manager.
Currently, Bojana works as a Doctoral student in Environmental Engineering on project Dalarnas Villa - sustainable homes. The project is a cooperation between Dalarna University and Dalarnas Försäkringsbolag in Falun.

Projektbeskrivning:
The project begins by evaluating appropriate building materials and technical solutions for resource and energy efficiency, low maintenance needs, and moisture, water and fire safety. Based on selected materials and technical solutions, energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions shall be calculated for the entire life of the building. When the house is built after the construction, the project will focus on collecting data on indoor climate, energy use and analyzing climate impact in the user phase. Focus in the research project will be ecological and sustainable construction combined with smart home concepts that provide innovative indoor climate and energy performance technologies.
