Dennis Collentine

Ph.D., M.Sc., Assistant Professor in Economics

Dr. Dennis Collentine has an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of California at Davis (1991) and a PhD in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (2004). Currently he is an Associate Professor at the University of Gävle and a Visiting Associate Professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in the Department of Soil and Environment.

Current research

Dennis Collentine works with water economics, primarily in the impact of agriculture on water quality. Trained as an economist, he has worked extensively with interdisciplinary projects in the area of water management with a focus on agri-environmental policy evaluation and development. 

Dr. Dennis Collentine is an economist working primarily on multi-disciplinary research with a focus on agri-environmental policy analysis. He has worked for 14 years with interdisciplinary research related to evaluation of environmental policy with a particular emphasis on the impact of agri-environmental measures on water quality.
