This course consists of an individual research project or diploma work. There will be an introduction to the course on campus, 10.00-16.00, January 18. You should have perused the guidelines for the course and ordered the course literature before this meeting. The guidelines and other resources will be available on your course page in Canvas two weeks before the course starts. Please note that the topic of your thesis is chosen in consultation with your supervisor and that it must be in line with the guidelines. These are full-time studies, and you must be prepared to devote a lot of time and effort to your diploma work.
Make sure you order the course literature in good time before the term starts. We will use Akademiskt skrivande (Blomström & Wennerberg 2021) and Forskningsmetodikens grunder: Att planera, genomföra och rapportera en undersökning (Patel & Davidson) as well as HSFR’s Forskningsetiska principer i humanistisk-samhällsvetenskaplig forskning (available online) and APA’s References (available online). Any other literature is decided upon in consultation with your supervisor.
Communication
