This course consists of student advising and individual research projects. It will start in week 3 and there will be an introductory seminar via Zoom during the first week. More detailed information will be given on Canvas of date and time for this seminar. Also, more information will be given regarding the outline of this course etc. on Canvas. You will then be assigned an advisor.
Canvas is our platform where you will find material about the course such as the time table, instructions, etc. Your instructor will use the email client to send individual messages when necessary. Therefore, check the course Canvas page and your email regularly.
Secondly, we will meet in a virtual classroom, Zoom. Information on how to access this classroom via a Zoom-link will be posted on Canvas. For us all to be able to benefit from a good quality of reception it is recommended that you use broadband and not a wireless connection. It is also important that you use a good headset with a microphone instead of the microphone on the computer only. A good camera is also essential for communicative purposes. Unfortunately, iPads and iPhones do not work sufficiently for this activity.
If you need support with any technical issues concerning Canvas or our virtual classroom, contact the support service through the university website (www.hig.se). Go to Student/Stöd, support och service/It-stöd och support.
