Welcome to the University of Gävle and the Bachelor of Science programme in Social Work Specialization International Social Work 180 cr.
The first course you will attend is SAG030 Social Work & Social Problems which will be delivered in English language (In case of COVID-19 spreading, the course might be delivered on an online-mode). Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded 15 Higher Education Credits (HECs).

We will try to use a variety of pedagogical methodologies such as Pre-recorded lectures, Live discussion and student support, Zoom-based group-work and oral presentation, Online peer reviewing, Reflective learning, academic publications' reviews, Field-study report through Canvas.

Registration for exams, including re-takes, is mandatory. You can register for exams via Ladok. You need to register at least ten days before the exam date. If you didn't register in time, you can not take your exam. No exceptions are made from this rule, we do not accept registrations when the deadline is passed.
If you are a distance study student and want to take your exam off-campus, you need to apply to do so at least three weeks prior to the exam date.
