Course organisation and communication

Course organisation

The course belongs to the specialization "Holistic leadership" in Master Programme in Religious Studies. It puts an interactionist perspective on leadership: an essential prerequisite for exercising leadership is to be able to lead oneself in interaction with other people. Such leadership requires awareness of psychological conditions, social circumstances, social processes, cultural norms and patterns of understanding. This course focuses on the leadership's international dimensions: How does senmodern leadership look like in the local/global world? The course contains two moments: Leadership in international organizations and Leadership: sustainability and action in an international context. Four seminaries (6/9, 20/9, 11/10 and 8/11) are given in real time, but participation is non mandatory.

The Student Centre
At the Student Centre you will meet knowledgeable staff who can assist you in just about anything regarding your studies at the University of Gävle. The Student Centre is located in building 22. Web meetings with Adobe Connect or Zoom
Adobe Connect and Zoom are two services for web meetings at the University of Gävle. You usually need a webcam and headset with a microphone.
