Advanced Project in Biology 30 ECTS at the University of Gävle
Are you ready to take the step into the world of biological research? The course 'Advanced Project in Biology' at the University of Gävle gives you the opportunity to plan, conduct and present your own scientific study within a biological field of your interest.
In this advanced course, you will put your theoretical knowledge into practice by designing and carrying out an independent research project. You will develop important skills in data analysis and learn to critically examine your results in a scientific context. In the course, you will present your work in writing as a scientific report and orally at a seminar.
The University of Gävle offers a stimulating environment for your project, with research staff representing a body of broad research expertise in several different areas of biology. The research spans many different ecosystems, for example, from Nordic mountain ecosystems, boreal forest ecosystems to aquatic ecosystems and agroecosystems, which provides you with the opportunity to explore a range of different and relevant biological or transdisciplinary questions. The great diversity in research topics contributes to a rich learning environment where you can discover connections between different biological systems and processes.
This independent project provides you with a solid foundation for future career opportunities in biological research, environmental work or other related fields.
