World Social Work Day

Join us as we celebrate World Social Work Day 2025 with an inspiring program at the University of Gävle! This year’s theme, "Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Enduring Well-being", highlights importance of caring and respecting across generations to build strong societies, sustain the environment, and share wisdom for a better future.

We welcome students, social workers, teachers, and researchers to come together for an afternoon filled with engaging lectures, discussions, and intergenerational dialogues between junior and senior social workers.
