The University Lowers Flags to Half-Mast

“The University of Gävle is flying its flags at half-mast today due to the tragic events in Örebro yesterday”, says University Director Micael Melander.

The Swedish government has today ordered flags to be flown at half-mast in response to yesterday’s violent attack at Campus Risbergska in Örebro. The Prime Minister has called for broad participation in this mourning flag display, and the University is following this directive in accordance with its flagging protocols.
